Mrs. Rivas possesses over thirteen years of experience as a certified clinical social worker that is bilingual and bicultural. She has worked in variety of settings, including dealing with LGBTQ+ individuals, people who suffer from substance abuse issues, sexual assault survivors, as well as partners who were victimized. She's worked with Erie patients in 2019 Now offering telehealth behavioral health services. Ms. Rivas is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team which focuses on postpartum and pregnant women. She is a specialist in trauma-informed healthcare and provides the EMDR therapy to adults. She provides individual and group therapy, as well as a medication assisted treatment program. Special care referrals are also available. Amanda works as an Best Friends Animal Society volunteer, helping to find an appropriate home for homeless animals. She shares the Best Friends motto, Save Them All and hopes to have Los Angeles turn into a "no kill" city.
